i just updated to this package. (rpm -e --nodeps 3.1.5 before i built
3.1.6) in the headers it doesn't show the correct version.

should have fixed this. Do you see:

thats what i thought also. yes i saw that message after running
service qmail cdb.
# service qmail cdb
Reloaded /etc/tcprules.d/tcp.smtp
Reloaded /var/qmail/control/badmimetypes.cdb
Reloaded /var/qmail/control/badloadertypes.cdb
Reloaded /var/qmail/control/simversions.cdb
Reloaded

yes i did. but you reminded me of spamd being in memory. after i ran
service qmail stop, there were still spamd running in the background,
killed all processes that has anything to do with toaster and rebuilt
spamassassin again, this time the header is updated. thanks!
