I would recommend you not using ie7 as something to validate software with. You can increase the ma attachment size by changing the line in your /etc/php/ini file. You will see a line that says "upload_max_filesize" about 500 lines into the config. Change this to something that makes sense (3M-5M) and then restart qmail and apache.
