I'm all cross-eyed and am having a brain dead moment. Was there an easy way to turn off PLAIN in smtpd? Or even worst-case not advertise it's capability? I figured to turn it off on pop3 you had to stop using qmail-pop3d and use courier-pop3d instead, and got that working already.
