Hi
I installed spamassassin on a fresh-installed toaster, it installed but
afterwards gave me an error on postinstall script.
I found out that spamd could not get started, because sa-update has no
rules.
I tired running sa-update but had no success.
When doing a sa-update i get:

I'm poking in the dark here, but you could try to find out what channel
is failing.
1) # sa-update -D -v
Or try another channel
2) #
sa-update --channel updates.spamassassin.org --channel saupdates.example.com
Or refresh the MIRROR.BY file
3) # sa-update --refreshmirrors

I assume you host is resolving DNS queries.
