You can also use qmail aliases with qmail-toaster.
You just put them in the directory for the specific domain and not in
/var/qmail/alias
For example, if your domain was example.com, you would put it in
/home/vpopmail/domains/example.com
I have specialized aliases in there that do
Because vpopmail is compiled with mysql, aliases are put in the mysql
vpopmail db when done programmatically, otherwise add aliases manually
in .qmail files.
You can use valias at cli with -i switch (below):
# /home/vpopmail/bin/valias
must supply alias email address
valias: usage: [options]
