Andreas,
Thank you for the information. I disabled courierpassd in xinetd and
started it in daemontools, still no luck. Could it be that the
courierpasswd 1.1.2 version doesn't work with courier-authlib-toaster-0.59?
I get the following result:
# telnet localhost 106
Trying 127.0.0.1...
I am trying to setup courierpassd 1.1.2 with qmailtoaster. Is anyone
using it right now? If so can you post your run file? Here is some of my
server info:
courierpassd run file:
#!/bin/sh
exec tcpserver -v -R -x
/etc/tcprules.d/tcp.smtp.cdb 0 106
/usr/local/sbin/courierpassd -s imap
I found more information in the logs when I restart the xinetd service:
Jan 10 16:24:37 mail xinetd[3875]: bind failed (Address already in use
(errno = 98)). service = courierpassd
Jan 10 16:24:37 mail xinetd[3875]:
Service courierpassd failed to start and is deactivated.
Strange part is
Hi Javid,
You want to run courierpassd under daemontools so it does not stop when
restarting xinetd.
Disable it under xinetd and control the service with svc- command.
