Hello all,
I have begun to get TLS connection errors, and I am fairly certain that
this is a version issue, as the mail servers we are connecting to seem
to be using TLS 2.0, while we are still on the old qmailtoaster plus
machine running on CentOS 5. (I know, I need to upgrade!)
Is there

Thanks, Eric. So, as long as the domain in question accepts unencrypted
email, this will work?

Good. I know I've been putting this upgrade off, but as this machine is
so reliable (and busy!), I've been reluctant to do the upgrade. This
will get me off my duff, though.

Also, can you enable 'SIMSCAN_DEBUG=3' in tcp.smtp or 'export
SIMSCAN_DEBUG=3' your smtp/run file. It would give an indication of
whether clamd is exiting cleanly.

Yeah, I've talked about this with you before, and I have a server on
standby, it's just a matter of the will to do it.

And, Eric, just so you know, that solved the issue with those domains.
I am in the logistical stage now of getting the upgrade going. Wish me
luck, I will report to the list with the results when I have managed to
get it done.
Thanks again!

Ok, I tried this, and it the number of tmp dirs is still increasing. I'll let
it run like this for awhile to see if it improves.

Quinn,
I think you should update ClamAV on your system. I while back there was
an issue with older ClamAV versions leaving orphaned file handles on the
system in the /tmp directory. The newer versions will resolve this issue.
