2011-06-06 Thread Andreas Ecker
Hi Stefan,

great, thanks for continuing on the RTL support.

Sure, you are a contributor. Please mind the spelling of the company
maintaining qooxdoo, it is 1&1.

As we already agreed upon that a while ago, lets proceed according to the
corresponding task in bugzilla:
http://bugzilla.qooxdoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4867#c15
I.e. that you would create a regular contribution in qooxdoo-contrib with those
patches, so that it becomes generally available. By taking advantage of the
qooxdoo-contrib infrastructure it can then be developed further by you and all
interested parties. AFAIK we're still missing your SF account for setting you
up as a committer to qooxdoo-contrib. Please let me know off-list, so that you
can get started.

Btw, since you seem to work against the qooxdoo SVN trunk, which is of course a
moving target, a suggestion: try to retro-adjust your RTL contribution for the
latest release qooxdoo 1.4, or if not, plan for targeting the upcoming qooxdoo
1.5 release (due mid of July). A release of your contribution corresponding to
a fixed qooxdoo release could help adopting your RTL solution for existing apps.

Let me know if you have questions. Looking forward to your RTL contribution,

Andreas

2011-06-05 Thread slah
Hi Stafan,

great news, I was always wondering how to accomplish RTL with qooxdoo, I'm a
native arabic speaking developer (Tunisia) and if you think I could help
don't hesitate to ask.

It will be great if we can see this contribution in action.

Regards
