Qt Creator 7 string freeze (and UI freeze and soft API freeze) are scheduled for this week, I plan to declare that on the morning of Thursday 24.2. Are you interested in my old ini, to check if you can see what hindered the version extraction? I don't have the time for that, as I can use my creator with the new ini now. This sounds rather odd. Have you double-checked by putting the old ini file back (and leaving everything else the same!)?
