Ceiling lifts work much better than hoyer types, but only if the survey and
engineering is done properly. Will a single track work for you or will
you require more than one? Will your ceiling support the track? Do your
homework.

I believe, that the tension pulley has an adjustment for tightening the
cable. I always looked for broken strands on the cable weave. Alignment is
so important when setting up the cable in relationship to the take up reel
and pulley.
