A new product called Sensimat is trying to raise funds through the Website indiegogo to further refine the product. From what I've read, the Sensimat is a pressure mapping mat that goes under your cushion and continually monitors your seating situation throughout the day, alerting you of hot spots or reminding you to do pressure relief through an app on your smartphone. It also collects pressure data that can be downloaded for various purposes. See their info/video through thelink below. I don't know exactly how Indiegogo works, but it appears that if you donate a certain amount ($299 Canadian) you will receive a Sensimat (retail value $600 Canadian) plus other perks.
