Hey Dan!

I am not exactly pagan but I am definitely not a member of1 another
particular sect either (like Christianity, etc.). However, I respect and
prefer the pagan beliefs over organized religions. Also, let us remember
that all the "fun traditions" surrounding Christmas including Christmas
trees, Yule logs, Christmas trees, Mistletoe and so much more is derived
from ancient pre-Christian customs. From the Druids to the Scandinavian
peoples to Romans (pre-Christ) etc. etc. etc.

And thank you for the great little story about the scorpion sting!  It
reminds me of that story surrounding a man gathering up starfish that have
washed ashore on the beach and even though he could not save them all... at
least he could say that he saved one.
