expensive.

I picked a used hoyer lift up off craigslist for 125.00. They sell cylinder
rebuild kits on ebay for the Invacare model. It depends on if you can be
without it a few days and can get someone to take the cylinder off and take it
apart.

I had a simple "o" ring break in pump.
it caused the cylinder to leak air/oil and it would not hold compression
& pump up.
i would have a mechanic take pump apart. there uis not a lot of parts in it.
