Re: [QUAD-L] Would this enable a person to use a cell phone completely hands-...

2017-05-05 Thread Jeffrey Gaede
Here's what really sucks for me.  I look at the nobuttonsheadset and I don't
like having something stuck on my ear until someone removes it.  Plus, if you
activate the phone by running it past a magnet that's about one inch away, then
how do you avoid having it pass across that same magnet from time to time, and
what happens when it does?  And a lot of these phones are set up to run by
voice anyway, so is this headset a glorified Bluetooth simply because it can
turn the phone on?  Then I have some similar issues with the Sesame Phone.  I
was able to try one out.  Seemed to work okay but I'm not sure how well it
would work over the long run.  I have concerns about it getting wet because it
does rain from time to time.  And if you cover it with something will that
affect your head movement and operation of the phone?  If you're moving it from
wheelchair to use in bed, but have it covered in case of rain, how easily do
you cover, uncover and change where it's positioned?  All reasons that make me
hesitate on either of these, but I'm paying for one voice over Internet phone
and a second lan line.  I may order the sesame phone because there is a 30 day
trial period.  At least I can find out if it's an option for getting rid of the
other two phones.  I wait much longer and the cost of the lan line doubles.  I
swear everything just goes up and up and up… Jeff
