Old wheelchair bases, make for great battle bot frames.  Check with a  
local/university and see if they have a robotics program.

Check with an Independent Living Center in your area and see if they can  
remove them.

I'm surprised how hard it was to get rid of my old chair. Especially if you want a tax deduction slip. I would have love one as a kid just to play with the parts. GoCart

Hello,

I put my 1st use chair on the seat of my Polaris Ranger.. And then I use a
winch across the rollbar's above to set me in the seat..For the 2nd one, my
work comp people asked me to keep it for a while as a spare in case my  3rd
chair  goes kaput. But when it's time that one will be replacing the one in
the Ranger, just because it would be handier than the one that's in there
now..
I called the teacher that teaches robotics at our local high school but
didn't get any call back,, I'm assuming he's not interested. Because it's a
sip and puff chair I looked at giving it to  a charity that deals with  the
disabled  but they already had a pretty good inventory.
