Just wanted to chime in that IMO, the long list of
HTML pointers at the bottom of messages on some of our
lists is abtrusive, especially when they are quoted,
i.e, left in replies. Perhaps some of these pointers
are required; I wonder if others could be clipped.

Highlight the text you want to quote, hold down shift as you click reply.

Hi,
First message on the list, so please correct me if I do anything wrong.
Was there a problem with comm slot ethernet on the LC 575 and 580.
Reason I'm asking, I bought a 580 a few months back with ethernet and it
worked great as soon as I plugged in a cable. Then, a few weeks later,

I leave a smite more detail when trying to make a point than some.

Not that I've ever heard of.
Two weeks ago, I got an LC 575, also picked up a comm slot card from the

They've both got a Sonic-T chipset, and both have Apple part numbers on
them. The one I'm looking at now is 820-0607-A, and the other, which I
don't have handy at the moment, is the same series. And, it's a twisted

Everything else on the network is fine, I've tried several cables,
several ports on the hub, everything else works. As for the quoting, I
didn't think it would be a problem, since I was replying to you, and not
back to the list. Sorry.

I am interested in doing some audio recording on one of my computers. I

is a Quadra 950 with a Pro Audio Spectrum 16 sound card. It has an 80MHz

Use that one.
Does any body have Disk Twin or Partition Twin. They are pieces of
software designed to be used with a SCSI card. I happen to have this card,
but not the software for it.
Thanks
