3.x and 2.x are incompatible. The problem here is that we haven't
built the 2.x version for the recent CentOS 6 kernels. The last known
update for 2.x was around October 2014 which is more than 3 years ago.

Hi, we had a power failure with UPS failure as well...
After the crash we cannot rebuild the "kernel modules".
We had kernel: 3.10.0-327.18.2.el7.x86_64
Updated into: 3.10.0-693.11.6.el7.x86_64
Tried to upgrade from: quadstor-vtl-ext-2.4.49-rhel6.x86_64.rpm
