This is where the dilemma really kicks in, I suspect there is too much to do to
get her back on the road for this summer along with running the pub. It would
be good to meet another Quantum enthusiast so do pop in if you are in the area.
That stands as an open invitation to all quantum owners.
Good stuff on the restart Mark. Get it out this summer enjoy the excellent
roads round your neck of the woods. I intend to do so, may take a ride out to
your spot from York. The major upgrade can start in the winter.

Really sorry to read all of that Mark. However, moving on, its great to see
that the Car has started again for you and that Steve was able to play a great
part in returning the car to you. Lets hope that now, the enjoyment of the club
and some of those great roads up north are really good fun
The fact it started has put me i a bit of dilemma though. As i discussed with
Eddie, I thought the car was gong to be a non runner so had put some quite
extreme powerplant plans in place for it. Now I think that I just want to get
it back on the road as soon as possible instead hmm, more

Hi Robert,
Most insurance companies, yes, but not General accident.
They won't even speak to you on the phone, all communication has to be
via email, though admittedly they did reply to those pretty quickly.
In the end i just transferred the policy onto the new car and sorned the

Eddie will surely know more, but as I understand it the coremat soaks up
resin and it's purpose is to add 'bulk' to the laminate, in as much that it
makes it stiffer by making it thicker. It has the other advantage of being
quicker to lay up, however although it gives stiffness to the laminate
Yes. The front screen and rubber are from Mk 2 Fiesta. Hopefully the faulty
laying up on your tub was a one off as mine is quite close to it at number

This is a sort of foam material, about 5mm thick and i don't think the
resin is intended to soak into it.
They lay down quite a few layers of matting, then the core mat and then
more layers of matting.
I believe
