Interesting.
They should just join into the black ignition coil feed wire inside the loom
where it runs along the bulkhead.

The electronic choke and fuel cutoff solenoid are both feed from the same
ignition feed as the ignition coil.

Two questions, weber 32 dft 1985 XR2 CVH 1.6:
1) I am suspicious that the main jets have at some point been confused. The
primary is 160 and secondary 150, going by numbers stamped on top. My
understanding is that primary should be the smaller one. Can anyone pse confirm.
2) What is
Well done on the new purchase..another in safe hands! We had the same issue
on an h4 cvh. check all the hoses on the carb ,if they are corroded or
split and sucking air it will rev high and drink fuel. Clean the jets and
the obvious new filter should sort it.

Yes the title is correct, I have just purcahsed a 2+2 in addition to the
Xtreme. Driving back from collecting it, it did less than 15mpg!!! I
quickly noticed it was idling very fast and smelt as if running very rich.
Other than that it was fine. Although have not yet taken air
