Am now looking for a slippy diff for the turbo xtreme and hsve been researching the various types. My current diff is the sierra 7.5 inch lobro shafts, I may buy new internals or a second hand plate type. Practical options seem to boil down to Quaife ATB or Titan plate for new, or a standard ford plate type SH unit. It also seems that options for the 7.5 inch are significantly more expensive than the 7 inch.
What I am interested in are peoples experiences wuth the various types eg is the loss of drive with the Quaife when one wheel completely loses grip a real issue? I mainly use the car for track days, with maybe 1000 miles oa of road.
