Karl, Reviews of those Nankangs sound good and even a positive comment about wet handling. The R888s are definitely too track focused for my requirements, so I was wondering if you have any feedback on the Nankangs in cold wet conditions on your car (an Xtreme?). Regards, Steve On

Thanks Karl. These are probably more track focused than I would want. It sounds like they need some heat in them to work, which on cold mornings isn't going to happen. What is your Xtreme usage, mostly track or road? I'd be interested to hear why an 'expert' thinks the TR1 wouldn't be
