Could you describe how you got Qubes to install on your Surface Pro 2? I'm having the same booting problems as the poster above (installer stalls at 4 penguins screen with "EFI_MEMMAP is not enabled" etc. message). I followed the instructions from the Qubes website, using Rufus and dd mode to prepare the bootable USB but not working so far.
