I have successfully installed win7 and things work perfectly, well almost.
For some reason I can't connect a usb to it. When I try it will tell me
that it has (which it hasn't) and then I will get the following error

"Error: QubesVMError Domain Win7: grexec: not connected"

Good luck with this. I have managed to install Ubuntu but you only get a
small window (which apparently is fixable but I didn't go there).
Networking is difficult and I could never get it to recognise my wifi
adapter. You could always try and install an Ubuntu template from here:
Downloaded the latest kali. The problem persists I'm afraid. No idea how
to fix this. I'll just stick with Parrot that works like a dream.

and I've posted on numerous forums and no one can or will help me.
I wonder if you'd post a similar how to for your .rpm templates? I just
don't know what to do with them I've
I've downloaded some ubuntu templates with the .rpm extension. I have been
told by someone that I need to put the rpm file into dom0 and then install
via cli with dnf etc.
I don 't know how to copy the rpm into dom0. I have found the qubes docs
that talks about copying and pasting into dom0
Thanks for the tip about the version of Kali. I have the first one. I'll
download the latest and see what happens.
