Running a dom0 update ('sudo qubes-dom0-update') in a disposable VM (per
Solomon1732 in
https://forum.qubes-os.org/t/qubes-dom0-update-fails-to-detect-release-version-on-all-operations/6729/6),
a shell window appears for the dvm that records the events during the
update. With the constant updating scrolling is difficult, and upon
completion of the update the window closes -- all these make it next to
impossible to examine the progress and any errors when there is a long list
of packages in the update. It seems reasonable to think that there'd be a
way to capture the shell content for this purpose? Any help or pointers to
help overcome this part of my Qubes OS learning curve is much appreciated.
Thanks
