I don't use 4.0 but if noone else gets this maybe you changed something
yourselves manually in your profile or bash profile?

When I run in Q4rc(4,5) the update command
sudo qubes-dom0-update --enablerepo=qubes-dom0-current-testing
I get the message

/etc/profile.d/20_power_savings_disable_in_vms.sh: shopt: not found
followed by "no new updates available". Do you experience
