Thanks for the suggestion, but a close look at the permissions doesn't
reveal any difference with

I'm getting quite good at finding bugs - six months after the fact.

hi,
files in three different vms have disappeared in the last week.
In one case I lost work.
previously I've seen a vm start without local data, somehow it doesn't
"catch", usually a shutdown and restart solves the problem. In this case
multiple restarts over multiple days is not working.

A quick check in the Fedora 23 VM with Checksec shows all migitations enabled
for most processes. Processes from Qubes however are missing migitations.
A short list: (These are the processes that I know are from Qubes, some might
be missing)

UPDATE: I solved this problem by changing the builder.conf value
"BRANCH_vmm_xen" to equal "xen-4.7".
The bad news is that I'm getting another error:

patch: Can't open patch file
Hello,
till now the argument of Qubes OS was that there are no laptops with AMD CPU's
or APU's which Qubes OS can run on.
Qubes OS primary focus is on laptops and than on workstations.
Qubes OS uses Xen to isolate "qubes" (vms) from each other. Xen can run on AMD,
Intel, ARM and other

Hi list,
problem solved, there was a second entry for Headphones in the alsamixer
settings, which was not shown in the PulseAudio Control. This entry was
muted that's why I didn't hear anything. Anyway, thanks for your help
and quick response to my layer 8 problem ;)

Hi,
Well, I restored qmmman.conf to defaults and it seems working fine now.
I had a smaller cache-margin-factor which was probably causing
hyperpagination on the AppVM's.
I don't know why I didn't notice the same on 3.1.
