could get a G505S in that case? I would obviously want an SSD and the maximum
16 GB RAM.
For my work, the main taxing activity is very large spreadsheets. I have run
into performance issues before because of this.

Probably you are right. I admit that I have no precise memory about 717
from my install last week (sorry for that :)) However, I remember that
in the 700-750 the template vm-s are copied and appvm's created.
