Can you please clarify what do you mean by 'no longer boot on the
intermediate/installation system'?

Hi All,
I've already upgrade a few times through the GUI and command line but
still shows in the GUI as if required.
Has anyone experienced this? Any insights how tpo get rid of the GUI
update reminder?
Thanks,

Hi All,
I'm getting notification that I need to update Fedora-29 (Qubes 4.0.1),
I do it but it keeps asking to update.
On Qubes manager all VMs based on Fedora-29 template show they need to
restart because I've updated Fedora-29, although it keeps asking to update.
I've even updated it mana
I am still pretty new to Qubes. I have managed to create a new qube, but I want
to install some software for use with this qube. I have read that it has to be
installed to the template and not the actual qube. As the template has no
actual network connection, how do I go about this?

I switched to kernel-latest and now it's working.
Interesting- in the template or dom0?

Hi, yes the error in the VM is about bad usb cable when I use the 4.20 kernel.

Hi,
'unstable' repo is not used currently. Please use 'current-testing'
which have 4.19+ latest LTS kernels. You can also install
'kernel-latest' which is mainline stable kernel.
So you can do:
sudo qubes-dom0-update --enablerepo=qubes-dom0-current-testing
kernel kernel-qubes-vm
Best,

Hi,
Sorry for the few trouble you had with the .repo files which has been
corrected in recent updates.
Have a look into your VM where you attached your wifi adapter. Does
something like 'bad usb cable' appear?
Best,
Frédéric

I tried to install Qubes 4.0.1 on a different system and update it, but
its still 4.14-XXX kernel and not booting with Ryzen 2200G APU. Even
sudo qubes-dom0-update --enablerepo=qubes-dom0-unstable kernel
kernel-qubes-vm
does not install a newer Kernel, probably because it tries to find an
