Hey Thomas,
I are right, it that was definitely better to put the FAQ on the site
(and this list). I did set up a standalone debian-10 to build, and the
process went through smoothly. Thank you. The 'but' comes now: BUT, in
the end the checksum fails!

Right after I posted, I ran across this, which directly answers your question
and offers a solution that doesn’t require exposing dom0 to a USB controller
except during LUKS password entry at boot time.

I have a motherboard that I would like to use with Qubes that has no PS/2
ports. I have a PS/2 keyboard and mouse and would like to know if connecting
them via a PS/2 to USB adapter is as secure (or nearly so) as connecting via
native PS/2.
There are excellent docs describing how to use a USB

It looks as though adding native PS/2 ports to a motherboard that doesn't
already have them is a non-starter.
I also read through several docs

You can't really upgrade Fedora in dom0

I've got a motherboard that does not have PS2 ports that I would like to use
for Qubes with a PS2 keyboard and mouse. I've seen several add-on cards that
look like they might provide the ports without going through USB, but they're
slim on specifics. Is anyone using one that they can

I am at dom0 where i am asked to enter my username and password, i had long
time to use this os again and i can't recall it.
Is there any way to reset, change it or something?? What options do I have?
Completely unistall it and reinstall it?

This is a tip for anyone who has ever felt queasy typing
"sudo make install" to install some software. That gives total
control of your machine (that VM) to whoever wrote the Makefile.
Most packages (tarballs, github, etc) seem to assume you are happy
doing this. It is usually possible to
