I have not been able to get USB-C devices to work.
Powering the laptop (charging) uses USB-C and works, but plugging a USB-C
device in and trying to use it does not work. Doesn't show up in qvm-usb,
lsusb, dmesg, etc.

No. Xen doesn't support hibernate (suspend-to-disk). And XFCE doesn't
check if it's running under Xen, so it still shows a button for
hibernate anyway.
