[qubes-users] power9 and qubes os
Seriously, is power9 support at least a possibility for qubes os? It seems absurd that we should only focus on x86 given how locked down and backdoored it is. I understand compiling for another arch is not difficult, but are there not any special requirements from Qubes/Xen which are ISA based? [qubes-users] devs - any plans to bring qubes os to power9?
Are there any plans to bring qubes os to power9? It's a much more open platform and has a much better long term outlook than x86. I understand qubes os is open source but I'm assuming there are very low level things going on that need to be ported. Any comments from the devs? [qubes-users] qemu and Power9 platform
Talos2 is being released soon with the Power9 CPU. This is perfect except for it not being x86. So I am wondering if there is a way to use qemu within qubes os to simulate x86 to run windows. Is this possible right now? Will it be possible in the future? It would be a great setup to have Power9 and Coreboot on Talos2, along with the ability to run Windows apps (even on qemu with the power9 cpu it should be very efficient) Sent with [ProtonMail](https://protonmail.com) Secure Email. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group.
