I always get the error "GLX extension not found" when trying to run
graphical programs written in Go, V, and other languages. They compile
fine, but then won't run.
I assume that these programs basically can't access the graphics card, and
that that's what this GLX error means?

Are you sure? I am on Qubes 3.2 and have installed all updates, yet whenever I
boot up I still receive a warning about using Whonix
