I have also renamed /usr/bin/gpg and /usr/bin/gpg2 and used ln -s to link them
to qubes-gpg-client but even this didn't work.

Additional note which might be important:
The sys-net VM which is based on the fedora-29 template I have built can
connect to the internet (I tried ping and also using the CLI-browser w3m).
The sys-firewall VM is unable to connect to the internet, when using sys-net as
Net-VM.

Hello,
I want to use a dedicated AppVM to sync data to a private NextCloud-Server.
I have setup a dedicated template for this, which is based on
fedore-30-minimal (as all my other templates).
Configuration of the template and the AppVM was straight forward and I

Is there a way to turn currently-running DispVM instance into a regular
permanent AppVM, which I can delete later?
The way I would do it:
1) Open a xterm in the same (!) disposable VM
qvm-run xterm
- Bitlocker Encryption (to be compliant to my corporate standards)
As I often spent some time to get everything working like I want it to
be, I keep notes and those might also be a good starting point for you:

.menu file (as mentioned in the Qubes docs)
[user@dom0 ~]$ cat ~/.config/menus/applications-merged/my-crossover-vm.menu
MS-Word
my-crossover-ms-word.desktop
BUT ... doing so, is _not_ adding anything the applications menu of my
AppVM.
Any ideas what I am missing?

I've tried to use the same method to move Qubes Manager:
