Sorry about the delay, I had a week of ddrescuing a failing drive to distract
me. I've managed to boot the Qubes DVD (EFI settings were originally preventing
me) but didn't get the rescue process to work, it keeps asking me for passwords
to non-Qubes luks partitions. I can open the partition

Hello
I managed to screw up my Qubes install and it fails at boot, resetting every
time. However, that happens after the partition gets mounted and I screwed it
up without having my /boot partition (a USB pendrive, since I multiboot)
mounted, so I expect I'll be able to mount the Qubes
Hello
I ran sudo qubesctl state.sls qvm.sys-usb on a LUKS install with USB keyboard
and mouse. (Yeah bad idea)
I use a removable drive to boot since I multiboot on that PC and the drive was
unmounted at the time so the command reported that 4 out of 5 steps succeeded
while grubconfig failed.

Hello
I've been using Qubes R4.0 for several months now and I'm getting tired of
Xfce, but KDE 5 is just unworkable on my nvidia GPU (yeah yeah I know nvidia
and Linux...). Is it possible to downgrade or install KDE4 in dom0 somehow?

Hello guys
I'm thinking of ways to multiboot Qubes 4 safely on my laptop. Would it be
possible to install the /boot partition on a thumb drive while having the /
encrypted filesystem on an internal drive partition? This should not require
Anti-Evil Maid, right?
Also if this works, will I have
Thanks, that did the trick!

Hello, today I ran into a problem installing Qubes 4.0 on my PC. I got an error
message saying I don't have IOMMU/VT-d/AMD-(something).
I have Asrock Z97 Killer 3.1 motherboard and Intel i5-4460 CPU. That CPU should
have VT-d, right? What am I missing here?

Hello,
I'm using Debian 8 with KDE4 at the moment and I'd like to switch to Qubes 4.0.
However, I can't find my way in Xfce and I don't like the look of KDE5. Is it
possible / too technical to install KDE4 in Qubes as dom0? Thanks for answers.
