[qubes-users] Downsizing private partition of a Linux VM failed
I have followed the instructions (https://www.qubes-os.org/doc/resize-disk-image/) to down size the private partition of Linux VM (after typing 4M instead of 4000M in the GUI, gosh!). However, now I can start the VM but I cannot start any application within. "qvm-run personal-email xterm" does not work for example. /var/log/qubes/vm-name.log does not show anything special. Any suggestions? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group. [qubes-users] Re: [3.2rc2] Cannot execute Qubes configuration after installing
Yes performance after were okay, although a bit slower than another Linux. Are you also using the same laptop model? Only later I discovered that disabling power management in the BIOS brings normal performance, i.e I cannot really feel that it is virtualized (a very nice feeling). Hey sorry I initially confused your problem with another I had. Now I will bring the bad news: installing on a USB stick did not work for me. Use an used hard drive and plug it to your computer to test, it's worth it :) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group. If I remember correctly the solution for me was not set/change the timezone. Have a look at the issues tracker on Github, I think it was mentioned. Good luck.
