To be hones im not sure what security features I nead as long as the the WM as
well as whonix works, the VM are properly seperated, encryption works, and
fireware is as at leas as hard to get

So conclusively its less secure to boot from different hard drives compared to
switching manualy becous the first option could alow some one to get in to bios
not only firmware?
Its amzing to me that its even possible to get in the firmware!

two hardrives one SSD and one Sata M.2 SSD 2242.

kernel your VMs will boot and *kernel* upgrades what kernel your
computer/dom0 will boot. The 'Default kernel' under 'Global settings' only
