[qubes-users] Another reason for Linux and QubesOS
Windows Update Prioritizing itself over Chrome https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GD3Lxyin8VY I do not know if this applies to other applications than Chrome but this is ridiculous. If i want to get something done then i dont want Updates to kill my connection. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group. [qubes-users] Re: Gaming on Qubes OS?
Im more talking about a Windows VM here. Is it enough to pass through a GPU in the devices tab of the settings or is there anything else that should be done? And how would it be performance-wise overall? Especially with Windows 8+ cause theres no official Qubes Tools Support there. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group. [qubes-users] Gaming on Qubes OS?
Is it actually possible to game on Linux like on Windows 7 and up or is there any special requirement neccessary for this? And would passing through a GPU via devices tab in VM settings actually be enough? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group. [qubes-users] Qubes as Server OS?
I thought about the fact if its possible to use Qubes OS as a Server OS for example for shared hosting or for application servers, etc. You could basically use Template VMs and start AppVMs running the needed softwares for example on a shared hosting system. Would something in this direction even be possible and would any other use cases be possible too? I guess its possible to use it as VM Host too? Are you using Qubes OS internally in some way like for the web server or at the moment not? :D -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group. [qubes-users] Installing Qubes OS 3.2 on an external HDD possible?
Hello everyone, i would like to test out Qubes OS a bit and since it doesnt work in VmWare due to my hardware being pretty limited is it possible to install Qubes OS on an external USB 3.0 5400 RPM 500 GB Toshiba HDD? To note is that some personal data including Image backups and ISO Files are on it currently. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group.
