[qubes-users] 4.0 set hw clock timezone for windows AppVM
Hi, I have a time mismatch between my dom0 and my windows AppVM (Linux AppVMs are fine). In 3.2, it was possible to offset the hw clock for an AppVM using qvm-prefs timezone. As far as I can tell, that option is no longer available. What's the correct way to address this? Thanks. -wyory -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group. [qubes-users] 4.0 interrupted AppVM restore, completed restore
Hi, I accidentally interrupted the AppVM restore process and then ran it again and completed it. Now I have two copies of every AppVM ("name" and "name1"). How can I tell which of these were correctly restored and which I should delete? Thank you. -wyory -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group. [qubes-users] Re: Qubes OS 4.0RC4 can't get xterm from sys-usb, sys-net, sys-whonix
Hi, This resolved after I restarted. Seems to be part of some hard-to-pin-down bugs in 4.0rc4. I'll hang tight as things are ironed out. Thanks for the help. -wyory wyory: > Hi, > > I can't get anything to run using 'qvm-run' on the sys-vms (sys-usb, > sys-net, sys-whonix). Is this intentional? [qubes-users] Qubes OS 4.0RC4 can't get xterm from sys-usb, sys-net, sys-whonix
Hi, I can't get anything to run using 'qvm-run' on the sys-vms (sys-usb, sys-net, sys-whonix). Is this intentional? I'd like to get xterm on sys-usb to run some disk diagnostics on an external drive using 'smartctl.' Any suggestions? Using Qubes OS 4.0RC4. [qubes-users] can't boot windows 7; stuck at loading classPNP.sys
Hi, My Windows 7 guests used to work, but about a year ago they stopped working. When I boot in safe mode, the last message I see is "Loaded: \Windows\system32\drivers\CLASSPNP.SYS". It hangs there indefinitely. I searched around for this issue and a few posts suggest that it's caused by an issue with the Windows AHCI driver (e.g. https://www.chrisnewland.com/solved-windows-7-hang-on-boot-classpnpsys-64) Any suggestions on how to get my Windows 7 guests back up and running? Thank you. -wyory -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group.
