Off the top of my head: set keepass to automatically save all changes.
Then your file is always up to date.

[qubes-users] Autostart fedora keychain service in a qube?

2018-10-23 Thread 'Bjoern Christoph' via qubes-users
I've set up a Nextcloud server in my LAN. This one works fine on all my
systems, works very well in Qubes 4.0 using a Fedora 26 qube and also
autostarts.

I specifically use Nextcloud to sync my keepass file across all systems, that's
pretty important as this file changes often.

The problem using autostart for nextcloud though is that when the qube starts I
am asked to enter the password for my nextcloud user account.

The popup states:

"Reading from keychain failed with error: 'No keychain service available'"

Now I could of course start keepass, copy my cryptic password into the popup,
then once nextcloud is running close keepass so that the keepass file is
updated if required and then start keepass again.

Um... no not really, that's very annoying.

I checked the group and have not found anything helpful here. I don't think
that this is a too uncommon problem? Any suggestions on how to solve it?

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,
Bjoern
