Hi, I just googled (https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/drivers/mediatek) that it seems to be in 4.19+ kernels. From your error, you seem to run 4.14 kernel into you vm. Or we provide 4.19+ kernels. You need to update your dom0 (if it is not done) and change your vm settings to use kernel-4.
