Hello, After upgrading from R3.0 to R3.2-rc3, I am no longer able to hotplug ExpressCard devices (e.g. USB 3.0 adapter). Is it a bug or feature?
When I connect adapter to running Qubes, nothing happens - it is not detected, not reported by lspci, also there is nothing in dmesg. When I boot Qubes with already connected adapter, it is properly detected, attached to dom0, and works fine. But if I disconnect it, it is still reported by lspci as connected. As a workaround, I have to manually rescan PCI bus after connecting adapter: $ sudo sh -c 'echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/rescan' And manually remove it after disconnecting: $ sudo sh -c 'echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:05:00.0/remove' It works, but it is not very handy :-( Regards, -- yaqu -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group.
