[qubes-users] Re: HCL - Dell Inspiron 13 5387 - Qubes 4.0
Well, I´m answering myself here. I got the laptop and also got the crash when trying to boot from a .ISO a HVM. Fortunately, after following the advice ghere (disabling memory balancing and setting min RAM to 2gb) it worked fine. Thanks for your help! Hello guys, Did awokd's suggestion work? I'm about to get that same laptop and it'd be really important for me to know if the problem of the crashing HVMs could be circumvented. Try also setting min. mem to 2GB and disable memory balancing. You can enable debug mode and check for logs in /var/log/xen/console/, but they aren't always very useful for HVMs- you mostly need to debug inside the HVM itself. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group.
