If you have replaced your netVM (the default ClockVM) or edited the
ClockVM in Global Settings and later deleted the VM, its possible to get
such errors. Check your ClockVM in Global Settings.

The other problem also comes up when I run qubes-dom0-update.
Qubes is still downloading updated for Fedora 23 when I've had Fedora 24 for
months.
I don't have the Fedora 23 template anywhere on the machine (that I know of).
To clarify what I mean, it is NOT installing updates for Fedora 24 (which I am
using), it is looking for updates for Fedora 23.

I've had many problems since installing the Fedora 24 template but I just
noticed this one.

Since dom0 is a separate OS from the templates, it doesn't get upgraded
when you upgrade templates. Fedora 23 is the latest version currently
available for dom0. Likewise, qubes-dom0-update normally performs
updates for dom0, not templates.

[qubes-users] Time sync failed

2017-03-01 Thread Richard
My clock is not syncing and I can't figure out what the issue is. Any
assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm running Qubes 3.2 (R3.2)

>From Dom0:
$ qubes-pref
clockvm   : sys-net
default-fw-netvm  : sys-net
default-kernel: 4.4.38-11
default-netvm : sys-firewall

$ qvm-sync-clock --verbose
--> Waiting for network for ClockVM.
Time sync failed! - Exiting

$ timedatectl status
Failed to query server: Input/output error
