gave up trying to get them to work.
When you say "downloaded in /home/user/Downloads on "dload"
Are you saying that the foo.rpm template is in dom0 at that point? I'm not
sure how to download straight to dom0?

I installed Ubuntu as a HVM and had to muck around with the disc it
installed on as I said (xvda/xvdb etc). Some worked some didn't.
With regards to resolution I did try from within Ubuntu but the maximum
resolution was I think 800X600 which is tiny and it didn't give me any more
options.

I'm not near qubes just now. I am thinking of the box where there is the
list of devices on the left that has a number of usb controllers. Am I in
the right spot?
