Ah, sorry I can't.  I didn't use vnc in the end, as I found that
the Qubes installation gui worked OK if I booted the usb stick
in UEFI mode instead of legacy.

Can you explain how you got VNC to work? I can get it started, but networking 
is not working by default so I can't connect to it. Do you know how to start 
networking with ethernet?
