You can enable full screen mode, in that mode browser fullscreen works. The video tends to be flickering, I think because of missing hardware acceleration. However other applications like RDP cause problems in fullscreen mode. In that case you cannot switch to another window without disconnecting. If you try, the RDP viwer looses context of at least the keyboard, sometimes of the mouse as well.
