Okay, I'm using SGM as my default soundfont now. Seems the effects are a
little weak, for some reason I only hear them on a few midis, but otherwise
a great-sounding plugin! i can add more reverb later.
Thanks so much.

Hi Raymond, glad to hear about your success. won't you mind if i tell some
further steps of using the MIDI tracks processed with SGM and XMPlay?
It's possible to insert these audio files in Reaper, my favourite DAW:

and then you can do everything you wish using any VST
Thanks. I will keep this in mind.

Hello!
For the first steps in XMPlay you are to open its settings - F9.
There you can read all default keyboard commands and other stuff for using this
player.
For making audio you need MIDI input dll which is located in download area.
XMPlay has enough keyboard commands to listen to the music
Hi Folks!
I have this Soundfont - its name is SGM and its version is 2.1. I could upload
it wherever it is comfortable for you. Some guys have already reported me that
SGM vanished from internet so we could renew its presence.
Another hint is using this SF2 with QWS. let me describe rather

I think most of the ones I have are pretty easy to obtain but they'll be in
1 place anyhow and I'll send links to the list when i get it done, might be
a while though, this week and next

what is sgm?
the font itself is not much use to me but any music made with it
probably is as long as its in pure audio though.

Oh yes, I forgot about that plugin. Thanks for jogging my memory. That
plugin does still exist somewhere, I bet it's still on the synth font
website, but I haven't figured out how to use it, so I couldn't find a link.
I will upload to dropbox at this link:
Which asio driver are you using?
That font you are thinnking of is Crisis. Its 1 gb size doesn't make it x
times better than your favorite font. Sure, it has really good instruments,
but they just don't sound good together. Some of them only work in certain
situations, and some of them,

Note: if you have it I have some sound fonts we can exchange that you might

Thanks in advance.

Hi, crisis grew to .9 g?
Really?
Try fluid, it's 1 tenth the size and infinitely better than the crisis I
last tried which was nowhere near .9 g.

No! It is 0.9 GB, not 9 GB, a huge difference. Now. Google search it,
because my connection is not good enough to handle sending 0.9 GB of data.
