Actually, I should have mentioned that I’m using my laptop keyboard for
inputing notes, and soundfonts, which BTW, I think I found some good fonts.

For tempo changes:
Go to the point of the song where you want to insert a tempo change. Then hit
control L to go to the event list, hit I for insert and use the down arrow
until you hear tempo, and press enter. Now find the tempo event in the list,
hit your applications key to go to the
Tempo and bends you can do by using the event list editor, insert the even
in the position you want. The manual details how bends are done using the
pitchbend messages.
Dynamics are done by probably using the velocity tools like progression on
a selected region that you have set with markers.
