Unfortunately, not many soundfonts have instrument lists, as far as I know.
However, making an instrument list is easy, if you know the bank and program
numbers. It can be rather time-consuming, though.

Thank you. The cleanup tool did the trick. I did end up losing a few notes,
because for some reason, the note values were super long for a drum track.
However, the set length tool fixed that, and I just went in and re-added those
notes.

The coolsoft Engine has less of a delay problem then does Bassmidi. However,
there is still some latency even with the Coolsoft engine. The best and easiest
way to have a sound source without any delay problems is to use a hardware
synth, like a Yamaha keyboard.

That is definitely possible. You need to find the program and bank numbers for
the drum kits on your keyboard, then you can find them and use them in QWS. I
can’t tell you how many times I’ve used drum kits on my keyboard to make beats
for various applications.

for me. It's also the only software of its kind that I've found will
let you rename the ports. So instead of having to remember that Proteus is on
MidiYoke 7 or rename it from within QWS, you can just create a new port and
call it Proteus VX.

To answer your question, VST’s and sound fonts are two completely different
things. VST’s are what are known as plug-ins; you would load them into a DAW
or an independent host such as VST host, and they can serve as software
instruments, software effects, or in some cases both. In

One thing to try: there should be a way you can test to make sure you’re
getting sound out of the Triton, such as a built-In demo song, or something of
that nature. That would be a good place to start, as this is a module so you
can’t just play a keyboard to make sure you’re getting sound.
