Ooh! That sounds like a computer issue, not your keyboard. Try saving as an SMF0 midi file and putting it on your keyboard. If it plays back smoothly with your keyboard running it, then it probably your computer causing the problem. Otherwise, I would contact Yamaha about this. God bless!

There are a lot of things to consider with this issue: first, when you’re in QWS, did you make sure the sink start function is not enabled? If it is, you have to hit a key or move a controller after hitting the space bar in order to hear midi playback. Press control wide to turn it on and off.

You can definitely do this with midi controllers. The controller for attack time is number 73. If your hardware synthesizer or midi controller has a knob assigned to attack, you can just use that while recording. If not, you can create attack parameters in the event list. Play the track until

One thing to try: there should be a way you can test to make sure you’re getting sound out of the Triton, such as a built-In demo song, or something of that nature. That would be a good place to start, as this is a module so you can’t just play a keyboard to make sure you’re getting sound.
