Hi friends,
what happend to the "call for translation" that was a clear
signal to start working on an update for transations in former times?
What is the supposed workflow for translations at the moment?
Did I miss some policy change there? Can I read it up somewhere?

I stumbled into beheaviour of read.delim which I would consider a bug
or at least an inconsistency that should be improved upon.
Recently we had to work with data that used "", two double quotes, as
symbol to start and end character input.

there seems to be a problem with the standard location of R´s 64-bit libs
at least under openSUSE.
I had two user questions regarding the compilation of rpy2 for 64-bit systems.
Personally I don`t know rpy2 but maybe someone on this list can decide if
the mistake lies on R`s side or o

Nice work!
But keep in mind, that for example the opensuse packages are no longer
kept up to date on CRAN, but in openSUSE's Build Service. So the stats
are biased towards windows and mac.
It seems you only count binary downloads of contributed packages?

R-2.6.2 on OpenSuSE Factory x86_64. It builds fine on i586.
(and on all older Versions of Opensuse)
Is there something I can do?
Are there known problems with some gcc versions?

At least the downloadable version of 10.0 does not contain _any_ fortran
compiler. At least I´m unable to find one.
